I recently returned home from the Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip to Mexico and it was so amazing! I filmed a YouTube video talking all about the trip, which you can watch below, but I wanted to put together a blog post so I can show lots of pictures too. Check it out!
DAY ONE: TRAVELING & WELCOME PARTY
On Monday, we got up early in the morning to be ready for our 9a flight to Cancun! Thankfully we live in a city that allows for direct flights to a lot of places (😂). We landed in Cancun around 1p, then boarded the bus to Hotel Xcaret. Stampin’ Up! spoiled us because the only people on the bus were SU! family!
After arriving at the resort, we checked in to the hotel in a separate “Stampin’ Up! only” space. We were then ushered to begin the Gifting Suite Experience where we got to select our gifts for this trip! You can see a photo of those here (including a gift we got before the trip & a gift we got on the final day), followed by the Gifting Suite Experience photos (thanks to other demos for the gifting photos!):
We then checked out our room, unpacked, and ordered room service for dinner (because why not — it was free!!). Then, my mom and I got ready and headed to the Welcome Party! It was a great time!
DAY TWO: GENERAL SESSION & RELAXING
On Tuesday morning, Stampin’ Up! had their General Session where we played a fun game, heard from the leadership team, saw Sara Douglass (CEO) and Shelli Gardner (cofounder & Sara’s mom) stamp together, and learned where the 2026 trip was!
Then, that afternoon, we had the opportunity to pack backpacks for the Keep Kids in School organization, and that was a lot of fun!
Afterwards, I was itching to get in the water, so we headed down to the lagoon and hit the beach! And later that night, we decided to go up to the top of the Espiral that we could see outside our balcony. Such amazing views!
DAY THREE: XCARET & XENSES PARKS
On Wednesday, we headed out to explore the Xcaret park! You could get on a shuttle bus to head to the park, or walk down by the octopus pool to get on a cute little boat. Guess which option we chose? The boat of course! We walked around Xcaret park for a little while, but it was hot so we left and went back to the pool!
My mom and I decided we wanted to go check out another park at the resort, Xenses. So we headed there for about an hour. This park truly plays with all of your senses!!
DAY FOUR: SHOPPING, XENSES & RELAXING
Thursday, we headed out to do some souvenir shopping with Judy Tuttle and Monica Giberti (and their husbands). While shopping, we ran into Karin Braxton and her sisters!
After we shopped, we headed back to the resort. My mom and I then went to search for some hidden waterslides at the resort (we found one!). We decided to go back to Xenses that night for a little bit so went to have some more fun!
DAY FIVE: RELAXING, FAREWELL PARTY
On our final day, we decided to relax! We headed down to the beach with some demo friends and their guests, had to pack (sadly!), and that night headed to the Stampin’ Up! Farewell Party. They treated us to a show at the Xcaret park and then a private party there as well!
MORE PICTURES!
Of course, Stampin’ Up! likes to treat us everyday on these trips! In the Hospitality Room, you can spin a prize wheel everyday to win various items. In this room, you can also chat with other demos/staff members, see card samples (we saw several from the upcoming Online Exclusives!) and we saw all of the swap cards submitted.
Below are photos of the prizes I won, the gifts I gave to some demo friends, and the swap cards I got back:
And, of course, one of the BEST parts of the trip are seeing other Stampin’ Up! friends!!! Here are a bunch of photos. I forgot to get pictures with some people, but there’s always next year!
Disclaimer: Less than 1% of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators earn the incentive trip.
Awesome! Looks like a great time! Thanks for sharing!
Great blog post! Thanks for sharing your experience with us.
