Happy Saturday! It’s time for this month’s Stamping Inkspirations blog hop, and this month, the theme is Floral! Obviously I used the In Bloom bundle today – if you’ve been around for a while, you know this is one of my absolute favorite sets!
I CASEd (Copy and Selectively Edit) this card from demo Charlet Mallett, and I just loved what she did with it!
I used colors inspired by the Global Design Project for this card: Coastal Cabana, Magenta Madness, and Bumblebee (first and second generation – aka stamped off and full strength). The bottom is the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder and the Scalloped Border is from the Floral Heart die set. The Bumblebee twine is leftover from the April Paper Pumpkin kit, but you could easily recreate it with White Twine and a Bumblebee Stampin’ Blends Marker!
MEASUREMENTS
Basic White Cardstock
- (THICK) 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
- (REGULAR) 4″ x 3″ cut diagonally
- Scraps to die cut some Flowers
- ~2-1/4″ x 1″ to die cut Sentiment
Coastal Cabana Cardstock
- 4″ x 3″
