Fun Fold Frenzy Craft Along Day 4: Accordion & Expanding Pop Out Gatefold Cards

We made it to the grand finale of the Fun Fold Frenzy! Over the past four nights, we’ve created eight different fun fold designs, and tonight we have two more showstoppers: the Three Panel Accordion Card and the Expanding Pop Out Gatefold Card.

THREE PANEL ACCORDION CARD

The Three Panel Accordion Card uses the Just a Note bundle with the Cute As Can Bee Designer Series Paper. The Petunia Pop card base makes this fold bright and cheerful, and the notebook-style accents fit perfectly with the back-to-school theme. With its panels that open up in layers, this card is just as fun to make as it is to give!

EXPANDING POP OUT GATEFOLD CARD

The Expanding Pop Out Gatefold Card uses the Charming Day bundle and Floral Charm DSP, with a Basic Beige base accented by Petunia Pop and Mossy Meadow. This fold opens up in a fun way, revealing layers of beautiful patterned paper and a space to write on the back.

For folds that expand or have multiple layers (like tonight’s designs), always double-check your adhesive placement. A little goes a long way—too much glue in the wrong spot and your card might not move the way it should.
