Hey, crafty friends! 🎂 Today, I’m excited to share a fun birthday card featuring the One More Year stamp set and Toadstool Gardens DSP. This card is not only a fun, colorful birthday greeting but also a little playful with its sentiment, “Another wrinkle wiser.” It’s perfect for those who appreciate a bit of humor with their birthday wishes! Plus, I just love how the cake looks with all those lit candles!
This card uses the One More Year stamp set, which is perfect for celebrating birthdays in style. The cake image is colored with Stampin’ Blends, and I love all the candles for that extra birthday fun! The sentiment “Another wrinkle wiser” is sure to bring a smile to the recipient’s face. It’s stamped in a bright, bold pink to match the colorful Toadstool Gardens DSP.
I used the Toadstool Garden DSP for the background, which provides a soft, neutral tone, letting the birthday cake and sentiment pop off the card. To finish it off, I added a bow and a few coordinating sequins for a little sparkle. This card is both sweet and sassy, and I love how it came together!
When you’re coloring an image like the birthday cake, try using light and dark Stampin’ Blends for a more dimensional look. It creates a fun layered effect on the cake. It makes the design feel so much more realistic!
