Hello, crafty friends! 🌸 Today, I’m sharing a beautiful “thanks” card that combines the Everyday Arches bundle with the Fruit Salad Sale-a-Bration DSP and the stunning Thoughtful Wishes floral die. The mix of bold colors, intricate details, and the heartfelt sentiment make this card a wonderful way to show your appreciation. Whether it’s for a friend or someone special, this card will certainly brighten their day!
For this design, I used the Everyday Arches bundle to create the two-tone arch on the card. The bold red Fruit Salad DSP fills the right arch, while the navy blue cardstock creates a contrasting frame. The soft, yet vibrant, combination of colors instantly catches the eye. To create a balanced design, I layered the delicate Thoughtful Wishes floral die along the side, adding texture and visual interest.
The “thanks” sentiment comes from the Everyday Arches stamp set and is stamped in Night of Navy ink onto a die cut label. It’s placed near the center to highlight the focal point without overpowering the intricate die cuts. To finish off the card, I added a few pearl embellishments for extra elegance and a soft twine bow for a subtle touch of texture.
When combining multiple die cuts or embellishments, it’s important to vary their sizes and positioning. By layering smaller elements, like the twine and pearls, with larger pieces, such as the floral die, you create a more balanced design. The use of contrasting colors, like the red and navy, also adds interest while keeping the design cohesive.
