April 2021 Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop: Alternative Birthday Card

Welcome to the April 2021 Paper Pumpkin blog hop! Whether you came to my website directly or from another hopper, welcome! I hope my card inspires you today.

The “So Cool” kit was exactly that – so cool! And, it was so easy to put together. I also loved how it coordinating with the Ice Cream Corner suite – and I used some of the DSP from that suite in my card sample today! I also used one of the labels from the set, the stamps from the set, and some of the cute Sprinkles found in the suite.

I love the colors in this kit, and I carried them over to my alternative card. The ink spot included with the kit was Bermuda Bay, so I used that as my cardbase. I also used some of the twine included in the kit – it was fun to mix some of my leftover bits with other elements!

And of course, I had to stamp the inside! I love to decorate the insides of my cards, they always tie the whole thing together.
