Beachy Umbrella Card with the Rolling Waves Bundle

This week is all about the Rolling Waves bundle and I am having way too much fun with it! There’s just something about beachy cards that instantly puts me in a good mood… especially when Minnesota is doing its usual weather rollercoaster 😄

This card feels like a little mini vacation — sand, waves, and those adorable umbrellas are perfect!

This card starts with a Thick Basic White card base, which really helps support all the layering on this design. The background is split into sand and water, with Balmy Blue for the ocean and Crumb Cake for the beach. I blended both Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie inks onto the sand to give it that natural, textured look, then stamped in some extra sand details and starfish using Pecan Pie ink.

The waves are such a standout detail here — they add that perfect movement across the card and really bring the whole beach scene together. On top of that, I added the cutest little umbrellas, die cut from Basic White, Calypso Coral, and Lemon Lolly cardstocks. They’re bright, cheerful, and just feel like summer!

The sentiment is stamped in Blueberry Bushel ink onto a die cut banner using the Stylish Shapes dies, which keeps everything clean and balanced. A few embellishments finish it off and give it just a little sparkle.

When you’re blending ink for something like sand, don’t aim for perfection. A little uneven blending actually makes it look more realistic and natural!
