BLOG HOP: Casually Crafting with Watercolor Shapes Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up!

Happy Saturday, and welcome to this month’s Casually Crafting blog hop! The purpose of this blog hop is to share ideas without the use of a die cutting machine! For this month’s challenge, we were to create using at least one of the NEW In Colors. My main color was Pale Papaya!

I made this cute and simple Happy Birthday card using the Watercolor Shapes stamp set (the sentiment is from Garden Birdhouses). I CASEd this directly from the catalog, using different colors for the circles to create a fun background!

For the circles, I used Pale Papaya, Fresh Freesia (another new In Color!), Coastal Cabana, and Granny Apple Green. For the smaller circles, I used an old 1″ Circle Punch to cut them out. You could also fussy cut them if you don’t have the circle punch.

MEASUREMENTS

Pale Papaya Cardstock
  • 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored in half at 4-1/4″
Basic White Cardstock
  • 5-1/2″ x 2-1/2″
  • Scraps for Circles
Thanks for visiting my blog today! I hope you’ve been inspired by this birthday card. Make sure to check out the full blog hop list below to see other ideas using at least one new In Color! Beneath that, find the full list of supplies needed to recreate this card.
