Yellow, bright florals, and a clean design make this “Happy Birthday” card so fun and cheerful! For this card, I used the Delightful Wishes bundle, which includes a beautiful floral die and sentiment stamps. The large, layered yellow flower takes center stage, and the intricate leaves surrounding it add dimension and visual interest. The sentiment, “Happy Birthday,” is stamped on a simple white strip and placed underneath the flower.
The background is made using a lovely floral patterned DSP with a soft yellow hue, and I added a coordinating Daffodil Delight mat to bring in more color and balance. To finish the design, I tucked over a small corner of the floral DSP for an additional layer of texture and detail. The addition of a sequin in the flower’s center gives the card a touch of elegance.
This design is easy to recreate and perfect for those who love bright, happy cards with a clean layout. The yellow tones make this card great for spring or summer birthdays, but it can also be used for other occasions like thank-you notes or just because!
If you want to make your floral focal points stand out, consider layering the pieces using dimensional adhesive. This adds height to the design, making your flower pop off the card. You can also play with different color combinations in the flower to make it unique every time!
