Create in Color Challenge 16: Wedding Card with Flowers of Friendship by

Happy Wednesday! Today, I’m sharing this week’s Create in Color Challenge! We’re already on week 16, and these colors are gorgeous together!

I made this gorgeous card for a friend of mine who got married last weekend. The sentiment on the inside (not pictured) says “Wishing You a Long Life Together Filled With Love and Promise.” That sentiment and the one on the front come from the Forever Blossoms stamp set.

Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather, and Polished Pink make up this week’s challenge. I also added in some Petal Pink for a base layer and the sentiment. I love how everything paired together so well! The colors look so stunning together – along with Basic White and Petal Pink cardstock, I also used my Granny Apple Green, Polished Pink, Highland Heather, and Flirty Flamingo Blends to color in the flowers and leaves, which were then punched out using the coordinating Flowers & Leaves punch! Can you see the Wink of Stella on the flowers too?

Basic White Cardstock

(THICK) 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored in half at 4-1/4″
4-7/8″ x 3-5/8″
1-7/8″ x 1/2″ for the banner
Scraps for punching out the flowers and leaves

Petal Pink Cardstock

5″ x 3-3/4″
1-5/8″ x 1″
