Elegant Wedding Wishes with the Lovely + Beautiful Suite

There is just something about soft florals and a little gold embossing that feels perfect for a wedding card. This one came together so easily, and I love how the layers do all the work without feeling fussy. If you’re drawn to soft, romantic cards with a bit of shine, you’re going to love this one!

This card features the Lovely + Beautiful suite, which is truly a mega suite with two coordinating bundles: Simply Beautiful and Beautifully Created. I started with a Thick Basic White card base and added a Basic White layer on top to give myself a clean canvas for stamping.

On that layer, I stamped delicate sprigs in stamped off Petal Pink ink for that soft, airy look. That little trick, also known as second generation stamping, keeps the background subtle and elegant. I also added a texture image in full strength for just a touch of depth without overpowering the design.

All three Designer Series Paper pieces come from the Lovely + Beautiful DSP pack. I layered them horizontally to create a grounded focal point, then added the decorative die cut shape as a backdrop. The sentiment is heat embossed in gold on Basic Black cardstock, which gives it an elegant feel. A few Pearls of Beauty embellishments finish it off with just the right amount of shine.

If you ever feel like your background stamping is competing with your focal point, try stamping off once before stamping on your panel. That softer impression adds interest without stealing the spotlight from your sentiment.
