Hello there, crafty friends! 💙 I’m so excited to share this card featuring the Everyday Arches bundle and the stunning Everyday Skies Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up! The serene blue skies with soft clouds make this design feel so peaceful and hopeful. This card is perfect for sending words of encouragement, whether for a birthday, new adventure, or any occasion where you want to remind someone to enjoy the journey!
I’ve used the Everyday Arches bundle to create a striking yet simple layout. The clean lines formed by the arches bring attention to the beautiful cloud background in the Everyday Skies DSP. The subtle texture of the paper, combined with the white clouds, makes this card feel light and airy.
The sentiment “embrace the journey” is from the Everyday Arches stamp set, and it perfectly complements the uplifting message this card conveys. I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy ink to make it stand out without overpowering the other elements of the card.
To finish things off, I added a white bow at the bottom of the card. The soft ribbon not only adds texture but also keeps the card feeling light and fresh. A few Night of Navy embellishments add just the right touch of sparkle.
When you’re using a busy patterned paper like the Everyday Skies DSP, it’s important to balance it out with simpler shapes and clean lines, like in this design. This allows the paper to shine while still keeping the card visually interesting!
