Gathering Together: Many Thanks with a Leaf Cut-Out

Fall cards are some of my favorites, and this one has a fun twist! I used the Gathering Together suite and created a leaf cut-out right from the designer series paper. The result is a bold focal point that shows off the rich autumn colors in such a beautiful way.

The card base is Early Espresso, with an additional embossed layer using the Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder for some extra texture. I used the large maple leaf die to cut out the shape from the Gathering Together DSP, letting the gorgeous leaf patterns really shine.

The sentiment “Many Thanks” is stamped on Crumb Cake cardstock, die cut from the Textured Notes dies, tied with a bit of linen thread, and accented with a couple of matte dots. It’s simple, elegant, and perfect for sending a heartfelt thank you this season.

Don’t forget that your DSP can be used with your dies! Cutting shapes directly from patterned paper is a quick way to add both color and detail without needing extra stamping. It’s a great trick for when you want a big impact with minimal steps.
