Gathering Together: Thankful for You Card

Nothing says fall quite like plaid and leaves! Today’s card from the Gathering Together suite combines a cozy autumn plaid with stamped leaves and a sweet acorn to create a warm thank you card.

The card base is Early Espresso, layered with a panel of Crumb Cake. On the left side, I added a piece of plaid DSP from the Gathering Together pack for that classic fall feel.

The leaves are stamped in Timid Tiger, Cajun Craze, and Crushed Curry, while the acorn is in Early Espresso. I stamped the sentiment “Thankful for you” on a stitched Basic Beige label, then tucked it into the cluster of stamped images. A few Peach Pie dots add the perfect finishing touch.

When clustering stamped images like leaves and acorns, try varying your colors and layering them slightly off-center. This creates dimension and helps each element stand out while still feeling cohesive.
