It’s time to celebrate with a buzzing bee on a birthday card! 🐝 This fun and playful card features the Meant to Bee bundle, complete with an adorable bee and heart (from the Hearts of Elegance dies). I’ve paired it with a sentiment from the Country Birdhouse stamp set to create a lighthearted “happy birthday” greeting that’s sure to put a smile on anyone’s face.

The Meant to Bee bundle is perfect for adding whimsical touches to your projects. Here, the bee stands out with its yellow and black stripes, making it the focal point of the card. The background features the subtle yet charming honeycomb pattern, which ties into the bee theme perfectly. The heart-shaped die cut adds a soft touch, creating a great contrast to the geometric pattern behind it.
The sentiment, “happy birthday,” is from the Country Birdhouse stamp set. It fits perfectly on a strip of Mossy Meadow cardstock, adding a bold contrast to the softer tones of the card.
For a bit of fun and dimension, I’ve added some enamel dots in yellow, which coordinate with the bee’s color palette. The final touch is the layering of the bee and sentiment, which are both adhered with Dimensionals to help them pop!
This card is perfect for a friend or loved one who enjoys a bit of playful charm with their birthday wishes!

When working with small details like the bee and sentiment, use dimensional adhesives to give the elements more depth and make them pop. This will help keep the card from feeling too flat and add visual interest!
