Hello Spring Craft Along Day 4: Bright Spring Card and Apron Easel Card with Scalloped Wishes and Help Me Grow

We made it to Day 4 of the Hello Spring Craft Along, and today’s projects are such a fun mix! One is bright and cheerful with some really pretty details, and the other is one of those cards that just makes people smile when they see it—because it’s a fun fold and shaped like an apron. Yes please!

The first card is clean, bright, and full of those little details that make it feel extra special. It starts with a Thick Basic White base and a layer of the Mixed Up Patterns DSP, which gives it that fresh spring feel right away. I used two pieces from the Scalloped Wishes bundle for the focal point—the stamped oval layered onto the die cut scalloped oval—and it really helps frame the sentiment nicely.

The strip of Wood Grain Wonders DSP across the front adds just a bit of contrast, and the garden elements tie everything together. The plant stake is die cut from Silver Foil for a little shine, and the dragonfly is one of my favorite details—the wings are vellum and colored on the back with dark Lost Lagoon blends, and the body has a touch of Wink of Stella. I finished it off with Berry Burst Shiny Ribbon and Garden Epoxy Dots.

The second project is such a fun one—this easel card is designed to look like a little apron! The base is Crushed Curry, and the apron is made from the Mixed Up Patterns DSP with the armholes cut using the Everyday Arches dies as a template. The pocket is created from a Secret Sea circle (from the Stylish Shapes dies) trimmed in half, and then filled with those adorable garden tools from the Help Me Grow bundle.

When you open it up, it stands like an easel card, which makes it perfect for displaying. There are even more tool details on the inside for that extra little surprise. This one would be so cute for a gardener or anyone who loves being outside in the spring!
