Just a Note: A Sweet School-Themed Card with a Pop of Pink

Who else loves a card that looks like it came straight out of your favorite notebook? This card featuring the Just a Note bundle and School Days stamp set is perfect for sharing a quick hello, a thank you, or simply reminding someone you’re thinking of them. With playful hearts and a soft pop of pink, it’s school-inspired but with a whole lot of charm!

The base is Secret Sea cardstock – a rich, moody blue that makes the soft elements pop. I embossed the background using the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder to mimic graph paper (hello, math class flashbacks). Then I used the torn-edge notebook die from the Just a Note bundle and stamped some subtle ruled lines and a faux margin.

I added die-cut hearts in a soft pink and a fun pink binder clip at the top for that extra “stationery” feel. The sentiment, “Just a note,” is stamped in Secret Sea on a stitched rectangle. A little Very Vanilla twine bow and some soft embellishments complete the look.

Use an embossing folder in the same color as your card base to add texture without distracting from your focal point. It gives dimension while keeping the layout clean and cohesive.
