Let Joy Bloom Card: Florals in Bloom Suite

Hey crafty friends! I’m back today with a vibrant Florals in Bloom suite card that celebrates all things spring! I combined the Pretty Florals and Sweet Blooms bundles with the beautiful Frames & Flowers DSP for a bright and cheerful look. Plus, I used some brand new Timid Tiger and Secret Sea In Colors to really make the card pop! This card features a fun sentiment, “Let Joy Bloom,” and a combination of fresh new colors perfect for the season.

For this design, I started with Pretty Peacock cardstock as my base, which is such a beautiful soft teal. I added some texture to the background using the Soft Waves 3D Embossing Folder for some subtle depth. The flower image was created with the Pretty Florals bundle, using Pool Party for the stems, Peach Pie and Timid Tiger for the flower petals.

The sentiment, “let joy bloom,” is from the Sweet Blooms bundle and was stamped in Secret Sea on white cardstock. I also added some finishing touches with a few Iridescent Pearls to give it a little sparkle.

When layering different textures like patterned paper and embossed cardstock, be sure to keep the design balanced. In this card, the Frames & Flowers DSP adds fun patterns, while the embossed background creates subtle texture without overwhelming the design. It’s a great way to create visual interest without making the card too busy!
