Lovely Day Card: Florals in Bloom Suite

Hello, crafty friends! Today, I’m sharing this beautiful “Have a Lovely Day” card using the Florals in Bloom suite—a fabulous collection that includes the Pretty Florals bundle, Sweet Blooms bundle, and Florals in Bloom DSP. I also used the new In Colors—Strawberry Slush, Cloud Cover, and Secret Sea—to create a fresh and vibrant design that’s perfect for any occasion! All of these are debuting with the new Annual Catalog on May 6!

For this card, I started by layering the gorgeous Florals in Bloom DSP as the background to create a lovely base with a soft texture. The Pretty Florals bundle helped me create the beautiful flower focal point, which I layered with the stunning die cut leaves. The “lovely” sentiment was die-cut using the Sweet Blooms dies in the new Strawberry Slush In Color, while the word “have a” was stamped using Secret Sea ink.

I love how the soft pastel tones of the Cloud Cover and Secret Sea In Colors complement the vibrant Strawberry Slush and create a balanced, eye-catching look. To add some finishing touches, I used gems for a little extra texture and dimension.

This card is so versatile—it would make a perfect birthday card, or just a sweet note to send to a friend or loved one!

When creating layered cards like this one, don’t be afraid to mix and match different textures. The Florals in Bloom DSP gives a soft, patterned background, while the die-cut flowers and leaves add dimension. By using different die sets, you can easily create a more dynamic design that still feels cohesive.
