March Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop: How to Use the Stencils!

Hello everyone! Welcome to this month’s Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop, featuring the March kit: Here’s to You! This month’s kit is so awesome, and I love the free stencil set that was included as a gift to celebrate Paper Pumpkin’s anniversary this month! I love this stencil set so much, it is the focus of the card I’m sharing with you today. I even have a video tutorial below on how I made this card!

In the stencil set provided, there is the cute sunburst (pictured on this card) – this stencil will get A LOT of love! There’s also a Star, Mountain, and Cloud stencil. I love the nature theme in this month’s kit, and the color combo they chose! Below, you can watch a video on how I made this card.

I kept the colors the Here’s to You set used, and focused on Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, and Pretty Peacock for my card today. I also added in Sahara Sand for the card base. And of course, I had to heat emboss the sentiment and bird stamp – heat embossing is one of my favorite techniques!
