Masculine Birthday Cards Using Sailing Home from Stampin’ Up!

Happy Monday! Do you ever feel stuck when it comes to making cards for the men in your life? Today I’m sharing these two cards that I made using the Sailing Home bundle from Stampin’ Up! I CASEd (Copy And Selectively Edit) these cards from Narelle Farrugia.

I wanted to keep things clean and simple, but also give it a bit of a rustic feel, which comes in with the Crumb Cake cardstock. To achieve the look of the Crumb Cake cardstock, I first cut it and then ripped off pieces of the paper on the corners and sides. Then, I crumbled it into a ball. Next, I flattened it out and adhered it to my card!

I used some of the Misty Moonlight DSP to give it an extra touch, too! For the Anchor and Lighthouse, I stamped them in Misty Moonlight ink and then colored over them using the light Crumb Cake Blend (and added some Misty Moonlight Blend to the water). Next, I added some Balmy Blue ink onto my Circle and adhered it together with Dimensionals.
