Peaceful Dock Bundle Relax Card with Dockside Scene

This one might be my favorite of all three Peaceful Docks cards I’ve shared this week… there’s just something about this little dockside scene that feels so cozy and peaceful. Like a quiet morning with nowhere to be and nothing to do.

And honestly… that “take time to relax” sentiment? We could all use that reminder!

This card starts with a Crumb Cake card base and two layers of Basic White to keep everything light and clean. On the top layer, I built the full dockside scene, and this is where all the fun happens.

The dock is created with Pecan Pie cardstock, stamped with a wood plank pattern for lots of texture. I added an extra dock post off to the side and tucked the boat underneath, stamped in Crumb Cake ink on Wood Grain Wonders DSP for that soft, realistic look. The rope detail is die cut from Basic Beige cardstock and ties everything together in such a subtle way.

To bring the scene to life, I added stamped and die cut images of books and a bag on Basic White, which gives it that relaxed, “set your things down and stay awhile” feel. The lily pads and flowers are die cut from Old Olive, Calypso Coral, and Petal Pink, adding just the right amount of color.

The sentiment is heat embossed on a Night of Navy label from the Nested Essentials dies, which really grounds the card and draws your eye right in.

When building a scene card like this, try layering elements so some pieces are slightly tucked behind others. It instantly adds depth and makes everything feel more natural.
