Rustic Thank You Card with the Nature’s Symphony Bundle and Exposed Brick

Hi friends! I have another card to share using the Nature’s Symphony bundle from the Nature Walk suite — and this one leans into all the rich texture. If you love layered thank you cards with a little bit of a rustic feel, this one is so fun to put together!

Rustic thank you card with navy embossed brick background, layered patterned paper, stamped navy leaves, driftwood die cut, linen thread bow, and “thank you” banner.

This card starts with a Secret Sea card base, and I added an additional Secret Sea layer embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder. That subtle brick texture adds so much depth without taking over the design. It’s one of my all time favorite embossing folders!

On top of that, I layered a piece of Basic White and a panel of Nature Walk Designer Series Paper. The grid pattern keeps everything grounded and gives the leaves a nice clean backdrop.

The driftwood die cut is cut from Secret Sea cardstock and popped up on Dimensionals. The leaves are stamped in Secret Sea ink onto Basic White cardstock, then die cut and layered with Dimensionals for even more dimension.

I stamped the leaves using Stampin’ Up!’s new Stampin’ Positioner tool, which is currently available exclusively in the Starter Kit through March 2. It made it so easy to get a crisp, perfectly stamped image — especially when you want that deep, even coverage on darker ink like Secret Sea.

For a little softness, I added about 18 inches of Linen Thread using my “faux bow” method so it looks like a double bow without actually tying one. The sentiment is stamped in Secret Sea ink on a Crumb Cake banner die cut from the Stylish Shapes dies. I finished it off with Secret Sea Sparkle Dots from the Sparkle Dot Essentials pack.

If you want the look of a full bow but don’t want the bulk, try a faux bow with Linen Thread. Just layer the loops and adhere them in place — it gives that finished look without adding thickness for mailing!
