Simply the Best: Autumn Toile Fun Fold Card

Today’s project is extra special because it’s a fun fold I learned at the Creative Connections event in August! It features the brand-new Autumn Toile suite, which includes two bundles—Amber Autumn and Autumn Trees. I used both here to really bring the beauty of the season to life.

The card base is done in Early Espresso with a front panel embossed for subtle texture. The large die-cut tree, created with the Autumn Trees bundle, takes center stage with layered leaves in Mossy Meadow and Cajun Craze. I added a simple stitched circle sentiment from the Amber Autumn bundle that reads “You’re Simply the Best,” making this card great for showing gratitude or encouragement.

The inside of the card is where the wow factor happens! When you open it, you’ll find a beautiful fall scene created with the Splendid Autumn DSP. The deep oranges and purples provide a glowing background, and I couldn’t resist adding the die-cut deer silhouette along the bottom—it makes the whole card feel like a walk through the woods at sunset.

Want to make your tree pop even more? Try layering different colors of die-cut leaves together. A mix of warm and cool tones adds depth and makes your tree look more natural, just like the changing leaves of autumn.
