Hello, crafty friends! 🦀 I’m thrilled to share this colorful card featuring the Ocean Friends bundle. This fun and vibrant design is perfect for a thank you card, and I can’t wait for you to recreate it! The combination of bold colors, the intricate texture from the Textured Notes dies, and the adorable crab adds a cheerful touch that’s sure to make anyone’s day! For this card, I used the Ocean Friends bundle to create the focal point. The bright, pink crab really pops against the soft background and adds a touch of fun to the design.
The real star of the card, though, is the rectangle die cut created with the Textured Notes dies. This new die set will be available to customers starting March 4, and it adds a beautiful texture to the edge of the rectangle that is so fun! The textured waves paired with the colorful coral from the Friends of the Ocean Designer Series Paper really bring a fresh, coastal feel to the card.
I finished the card with a few sequins and a bright green accent strip to bring even more energy and fun to the layout. The overall result is a card that’s both lively and heartfelt!
When using bold colors like the bright pink of the crab, it’s important to balance them with softer elements, like the pastel background. This helps to make sure the bold colors pop without overwhelming the design.
