Turtle-y Adorable Birthday Wishes with the Turtle-y Awesome Bundle

Today’s card is bringing some serious birthday cheer with the cutest little critter from the Turtle-y Awesome bundle. I CASEd this playful card from Leena Girsa and couldn’t resist its bright layers and celebratory vibe! If you love cute and punny cards, this one is sure to make your crafting heart smile!

This handmade birthday card starts with a Shy Shamrock base embossed with the Turtle Textures embossing folder to add that fun layered look. I layered a pattern from the Turtle-y Cute DSP on top and matted it with a pop of Crushed Curry cardstock for extra brightness.

The star of the show is that adorable turtle, stamped and colored with Stampin’ Blends. I used Shy Shamrock and Shaded Spruce with touches of Strawberry Slush and Pretty in Pink for the party hat. The sentiment “hope your birthday is turtle-y awesome!” is from the Turtle-y Awesome stamp set and fits perfectly inside one of the Everyday Arches dies, layered over another Crushed Curry die cut for dimension.

To finish it off, I added a couple of adhesive-backed sequins from the Adhesive-Backed Starburst Sequins embellishments. Just a little sparkle to keep things festive!

When coloring small stamped images like this turtle, use the bullet tip of your Stampin’ Blends for more control and cleaner lines. And don’t be afraid to mix and match your dies—this sentiment fits beautifully into a label meant for a completely different bundle!
