VIDEO: Pick a Plant with the Give it a Whirl Dies and Plentiful Plants from

Happy Thursday! I have been just loving the Give it a Whirl dies and have enjoyed making “out-of-the-box” cards with this set. An idea recently popped in my mind to use the die set to make a card with the Plentiful Plants set (from the Bloom Where You’re Planted Suite). This is what I came up with!

How fun are these cards?! I just love this suite and this was my first play with it. The Give it a Whirl dies are seriously my favorite! I love the colors used – Evening Evergreen, Cajun Craze, Garden Green, Just Jade, and Gray Granite. They all blend together so nicely!

Here’s a look at the three different options when you spin the wheel. Seriously, this turned out to be such a fun card! The sentiment on the bottom says “To a Dear Friend” while the inside says “A Little Note with the Biggest Thanks.” These cards are truly going to some great people.

Evening Evergreen Cardstock

8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
2-1/8″ x 1/2″

Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP

6″ x 4″ (see the video for how I cut up this paper – I cut off a piece at 4″ x 1/2″ for the inside of the card)

Basic White Cardstock

5-1/4″ x 4″ for the inside of the card
~3-1/2″ square to die cut the wheel
Scrap to stamp and die cut the pot
