Woolly Friends Fab-Ewe-Lous Card with Soft Pastels

This little sheep completely won me over. It’s sweet, calm, and one of those cards that just feels happy the moment you finish it. I kept everything soft and simple, and this is the kind of card that’s perfect to have on hand for a quick thank you or just-because!

This card features the new Woolly Friends bundle from Stampin’ Up!, and it’s a punch bundle, which is always a win in my book. The punch cuts out several pieces, but for this card I used just the head and the bow. I love how easy it is to mix stamped images with punched elements without it feeling fussy.

The card base is Balmy Blue, with an extra embossed layer using the Beautiful Pattern 3D Embossing Folder for a little texture. The grass is a strip of designer paper from the Mixed Patterns pack, which works perfectly to ground the sheep without needing extra layers. The flowers and bow use two-step stamping, and the sentiment is stamped on a Bubble Bath cardstock strip. I added light shading to the sheep with Bubble Bath and Smoky Slate blends to keep everything soft and cozy.

Punch bundles are great for simple cards like this. Try using just one or two punched pieces instead of everything the punch offers — it keeps the card quick and lets the stamped images do the work.
