You Make Me Smile Card: Florals in Bloom Suite

Hello, crafty friends! I’m so excited to share this bright and cheerful card featuring the Florals in Bloom suite—which is now available in the new catalog, launching today! This card uses both the Pretty Florals and Sweet Blooms bundles, and it’s a great example of how versatile this suite can be. The combination of the two bundles helps create a beautiful, layered look.

For this card, I started with the Around It All circle die to create a smooth, clean base for the stamped flowers. I used the Pretty Florals bundle to stamp the flowers in Darling Duckling and the stems in Garden Green. The sentiment, “You make me smile,” was heat embossed in White Embossing Powder onto Shaded Spruce cardstock, giving it a nice contrast against the soft background.

The fun patterned DSP comes from the Florals in Bloom DSP, and I used the soft greens and blues to complement the floral design. I finished the card off with a bit of twine and Neutral Matte Dots for some added texture and shine.

When you want to add depth to your cards, try using a combination of stamps and dies. The Pretty Florals stamps offer great detail, while the Sweet Blooms bundle gives us a lovely sentiment. Don’t forget to heat emboss your sentiments for that extra polished touch—it’s easy but makes a big impact!
