Hello, crafty friends! I’m excited to share this adorable card featuring the For The Books bundle, the Hearts of Elegance dies, and the Country Lace DSP from Stampin’ Up! This card was inspired by Amanda Mertz and is a perfect way to tell someone they are “solid” in your life. I’ve added a sweet touch with the heart shapes and fun sentiment to create a design that’s as heartfelt as it is stunning.
I used the For The Books bundle to feature the cute stacked books, which pairs perfectly with the “you’re a solid” sentiment and five stars to show just how amazing this person is. The heart shapes are cut from the Hearts of Elegance dies, and I layered three hearts in various shades of and gray for a bit of contrast.
The Country Lace DSP adds a subtle, elegant background that keeps the focus on the sentiment and books, making the card perfect for any occasion when you want to show someone they are appreciated.
When you’re using a pattern like the Country Lace DSP, it’s helpful to balance it with simpler, solid elements, like the hearts and the sentiment. This lets the background shine without overpowering the design.
