You’re the Sweetest Strawberry Card with the Filled With Sweetness Bundle

This card is such a good reminder that simple can still be really, really pretty. I love a clean white background with just a few layers, and when you add in strawberries… well, I’m sold. This one feels fresh, sweet, and perfect for so many occasions!

This card uses the Filled With Sweetness bundle from the Homemade Sweetness suite, and I CASEd this design from Angela Meiritz-Reid. The base is Thick Basic White, which gives it a nice sturdy feel, and then I added a Basic White layer embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder. That subtle texture makes such a difference without taking away from the focal point.

Across the center, I added a strip of Homemade Sweetness Designer Series Paper with that classic blue gingham pattern. It’s such a great way to bring in color while still keeping everything soft and cohesive.

For the focal point, I used a Misty Moonlight die cut label layered behind the sentiment, the sentiment is stamped in Misty Moonlight ink and die cut with the bundle. The two strawberries are stamped in Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Strawberry Slush and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. They really pop against the softer background!

I finished the card with a simple knot of Misty Moonlight ribbon and a few Hues of Blue Flowers embellishments.

If you’re working with an all-white background, adding an embossing folder is an easy way to bring in texture without adding more color. It keeps the card clean but gives it just enough interest to make your focal point stand out.
