Hello, crafty friends! 📚 I’m so excited to share today’s birthday card featuring the For The Books bundle from Stampin’ Up! This card is perfect for the book lovers in your life. It’s clean, simple, and the perfect mix of fun and thoughtful. I also used the Nested Essentials dies to create that bold die-cut shape behind the sentiment, which really draws attention to the design. Let’s dive into the details!
For this card, I used the adorable For The Books bundle, which includes a cute stack of books. The fun “Happiest Birthday” sentiment is from the Round We Go stamp set. I stamped the sentiment and paired it with a die-cut banner using the Nested Essentials dies. This die set is perfect for creating clean, sharp shapes that work with so many different cards.
To add dimension and texture, I die cut the book from the For The Books dies and layered it on top of the die cut shape. The yellow bookmarks on the book add a playful touch, and I finished it off with a little bow made from twine for added texture.
The background is made with a fun pattern from the Toadstool Gardens Sale-a-Bration DSP. It adds a cozy and welcoming feel to the card, making it perfect for any book-themed celebration.
To make your die cut pieces pop, use dimensionals! It’s an easy way to add extra depth and interest to your design without adding a lot of bulk.
