Birthday Hugs with Stampin’ Up!’s Sending Hugs Bundle

Happy Friday! I am kicking off the weekend with this fun card that I made using the Sending Hugs bundle from Stampin’ Up! This is such a fun bundle with so many possibilities – you can color, die cut, or even leave it monochromatic!

I decided to color in the flowers using Bermuda Bay, Balmy Blue, and Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends. Recognize these colors? They were included in my Create in Color Challenge this week!

I die cut the “HUGS” letters out of Basic Black cardstock and then adhered them over the stamped letters. I added some extra pizzazz by adding some Wink of Stella over the word. I also heat embossed “birthday” and then die cut it out with a label included in the bundle. I seriously love this set!

MEASUREMENTS
Basic White Cardstock
  • (THICK) 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored in half at 4-1/4″
  • (REGULAR) 5-1/4″ x 4″
Basic Black Cardstock
  • ~2-1/4″ x 1″ to die cut “HUGS”
  • 1″ x 1/4″ to die cut “Birthday”
