Welcome to the Stampin’ Dreams blog hop! The theme this month is Graduation Cards, and today I am sharing the Graduation Card I made for my cousin who just graduated from college.
I was inspired by Lyssa Griffin Zwolanek for this card and used Merry Merlot and Misty Moonlight – my cousin’s college colors. To create the grad cap, I used the Triangle Dies and the insert from the “O” in the Playful Alphabet Dies. I created my own tassel using twine and a fork! Continuing with the Playful Alphabet Dies, I cut out the “2021” in Misty Moonlight cardstock. The “Congratulations” is from the Happy Thoughts stamp set, and stamped in Merry Merlot.
I just love how this card turned out! I know it will be a layout that I’ll use for many graduations to come. Just swap out the colors and it can work for any school!
