BLOG HOP: Sketch Challenge using Whiskey Business from Stampin’ Up!

Happy Saturday! Today I’m participating in the Casually Crafting blog hop, which features card ideas for casual crafters! Today, we’re featuring a Sketch challenge. A Sketch is basically an idea which you then interpret into your own design! Here’s the card I’m sharing today:

And, here’s the Sketch that my card was inspired by:

I loved how much freedom this sketch allowed, and decided to use the Whiskey Business stamp set as my main focus, allowing the whiskey container and glass to be the two circular images, and the lemon peels as the extra detail! I also added my sentiment at the top right of card, and added in two staples to give it some extra texture.

Didn’t it turn out so well? I added some score lines to the Seaside Spray cardstock at 3/8″ x 1/2″ on all four sides of the card. The whiskey is colored with Cinnamon Cider Blends, and the lemon peels are colored with Daffodil Delight Blends. I used my Paper Snips to cut out all of the images!

  1. Fabulous masculine card Melissa! It turned out really well! I really like the scored lines for your 'frame' too! 🙂
