Bright and Bold Hello Card Using the Poppin’ By Bundle

Today’s card is bursting with fun, energy, and a whole lot of charm—thanks to the playful Poppin’ By bundle from Stampin’ Up! If you’re a fan of bold sentiments and clean design, this card is going to pop right into your heart. Let’s dive into how I brought this design to life using some of my favorite dies and stamps.

Handmade card with a red dotted background, large die-cut “POP” letters in vanilla, and a white-embossed sentiment strip that reads “Poppin’ in to say hello.”

This cheerful card starts with a bold Real Red card base, layered with a tone-on-tone background using the Stripes & Dots stamp set in matching Real Red ink. I went with the dotted pattern to keep things whimsical and fun!

The focal point is all about the word “POP,” die cut using the Party Alphabet dies in Lemon Lolly cardstock. I staggered and layered the letters to give it dimension and extra personality.

Behind the letters is a simple angled panel of Basic White cardstock to help everything stand out. Then, I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment “Poppin’ in to say hello” from the Poppin’ By bundle in white on a strip of Basic Black cardstock. That contrast really makes it… well, pop!

A few sparkly embellishments finish off the look with a touch of glam.

When layering large die-cut letters, try gently curving or tilting them for extra movement and visual interest. Adhering them with dimensionals makes them look like they’re jumping right off the card—especially perfect for a phrase like “POP!”
