Clean and Coastal Thank You Card with the Rolling Waves Bundle

Okay, this card just makes me take a deep breath in the best way. There’s something about those blues and soft sandy tones that feels so relaxing — like you’re just sitting by the water with nowhere to be.

And honestly, a thank you card that feels this peaceful? Yes please.

This card starts with a Blueberry Bushel card base, and I added an embossed layer using the Lovely Stripes 3D Embossing Folder. I love how that texture adds interest without taking away from the focal point — it’s subtle but makes a big difference.

The main design is built on a die cut arch from the Everyday Arches dies, which gives the whole card a soft, framed look. I stamped both the sand and water elements to create that beach scene, then layered in additional die cut Balmy Blue waves for a little extra dimension and movement.

The sentiment is heat embossed on a banner from the Stylish Shapes dies, which really pops against the background. To finish it off, I added die cut seashells in Crumb Cake, a linen thread bow for a bit of softness, and Antique Pearls for just the right touch of detail.

When you’re using an embossing folder on a full background, keep the rest of your design a little simpler so the texture can really shine without feeling too busy.
