Double Box Fold Card featuring the Rocking Horse Bundle

The Rocking Horse bundle may be featured in the Holiday Catalog, but you don’t need to limit it’s use just to Christmas… you can make adorable birthday cards for young ones too!

For this card, I made a Double Box Fold card! Below, I’ve got the measurements so you can recreate this card at home.

I have a YouTube video showing how to make the blue version of this card, which is linked here and further down on this blog post.

I made this card following my Inkredible Crafter team’s October Creative Challenge guidelines… we did a dice roll challenge for October, and our parameters were: Regals, Fun Fold, Birthday, Punches and Embossing. This card checks all the boxes!

Here are the measurements if you’d like to make this card too:

CARD BASE: 9-3/8″ x 4-1/4″ scored at 3/8″, 1-3/8″, 2-7/8″ and 3-7/8″

SAME COLOR AS CARD BASE: 5-1/8″ x 3-1/2″ scored at 3/8″ and 1-3/8″

DESIGNER SERIES PAPER 1: 3-3/4″ x 4″

DESIGNER SERIES PAPER 2: 1-1/4″ x 4″

FIRST LAYER FOR CENTER PANEL: 3-1/2″ x 3-1/4″

CREATE IN COLOR CHALLENGE:

Today’s card is part of this week’s Create in Color Challenge!

Here’s the color combo for this week! If you’d like to participate in this week’s challenge, make a project using some (or all!) of the colors listed above (or similar hue if you don’t have the exact color), and share it in my Facebook Group with #CreateinColorChallenge. I’m so excited to see what you create!
