Emboss Resist with Stampin’ Up! Shaded Summer Stamps & Dies

Happy Friday! Today I am sharing a fun card that I made using the Emboss Resist technique. For this card, I used the Shaded Summer stamp set and the Summer Shadows die set (the dies are FREE right now with a $100 order in my online store – but only through September 30)!

I know the word Summer is in the title, but I wanted to make this card using fall colors. So, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, and Cherry Cobbler to the rescue! I also used Sahara Sand and Basic White cardstock to cut out the flowers and leaves.

To do the Emboss Resist technique, I started by heat embossing White Embossing Powder onto a Basic White layer. Then, I used my Blending Brushes to add the three colors and finished by taking a tissue and wiping the ink off of the heat embossed parts. I love doing this technique as it gives such a unique look!
