Fluffy Squirrel Bundle Sneak Peek: Gather Happiness Card

Today I’m sharing a cozy, autumn-inspired card that features one of the cutest new bundles coming your way — the Fluffy Squirrel bundle! This bundle debuts on September 3 and is packed with charming critters and a coordinating punch that is just too fun to play with. Pairing it with some new seasonal products, this card is all about warmth, texture, and a touch of whimsy.

The star of this card is that sweet little squirrel from the Fluffy Squirrel bundle, stamped and punched out to pop right off the page. I paired it with the Gathering Together Designer Series Paper for a mix of rustic colors and patterns, then added a strip of dark DSP across the center for balance.

For the background, I used the Gathering Leaves embossing folder on a piece of Cajun Craze two-tone cardstock — flipping it to the lighter side for a softer look that still gives plenty of texture. The sentiment, “May You Gather Happiness,” is stamped on a die-cut label and tucked behind the squirrel to finish the design. A little twine and some coordinating embellishments bring everything together!

When working with two-tone cardstock, don’t forget to flip it over and test both sides! Sometimes the lighter shade brings out the details of embossing folders in a really unique way, like it does here with the Gathering Leaves folder.
