Gathering Happiness with the Fluffy Squirrel Bundle

One of my favorite ways to get started with a new bundle is to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) a project from the catalog. Today’s card is inspired by the Mini Catalog and features the sweet Fluffy Squirrel bundle along with the Gathering Together Designer Series Paper. Sometimes the catalog samples are just too cute not to try out yourself!

This card layers a pattern from the Gathering Together DSP in rich autumn tones with two stamped Cajun Craze pieces, set against a soft card base. The squirrel is stamped and fussy cut, perched on a stump with little flowers colored beneath him — a charming scene that really makes him stand out.

The sentiment “May You Gather Happiness” is stamped on a stitched circle and accented with linen thread and metallic embellishments for just the right finishing touch. Simple layers, a pop of texture, and a sweet squirrel make this card full of warmth and fall charm.

Don’t be afraid to CASE catalog samples! They’re designed to spark ideas, and you can always put your own twist on them by changing colors, DSP, or embellishments.
