Hello, crafty friends! ✝️ As we approach Easter, I’m excited to share this peaceful and meaningful card featuring the Faith Collection bundle from the Online Exclusives and the lovely Subtles DSP. This card beautifully conveys the message of Easter with a focus on the cross and resurrection. It’s perfect for sending Easter blessings or for anyone who appreciates the message of faith.
I’ve used the Faith Collection bundle to create this card, highlighting the powerful sentiment, “He is risen,” which is stamped in soft, earthy tones. The cross is stamped in a dark, brown color and die-cut for added dimension. Surrounding the cross are soft, leafy palms from the stamp set, symbolizing new life and renewal.
The background is made with Subtles DSP in a pale yellow, which provides a soft and serene backdrop for the cross and foliage. I used the Everyday Arches dies to frame the cross, giving the design a refined, elegant touch. A small bit of twine and two textured dots complete the card, adding just a hint of texture and interest.
When working with delicate, soft images like the palms in this design, it’s important to choose a background pattern that complements without overwhelming the focal point. The Subtles DSP is perfect because it provides a quiet, yet beautiful, base that allows the central image to stand out.
