Industrial Hello Card with the Gears and Textures Bundle

I’m back with another project using the Gears and Textures bundle, and this one leans fully into that industrial, workshop-inspired look. It’s clean and full of layered details — the kind of card that feels a little unexpected and a lot fun to create! This design was CASEd from Stampin’ Up!, and I had a lot of fun creating it!

This card features the Gears and Textures bundle from Stampin’ Up! and was CASEd from Stampin’ Up!. The background is built entirely with stamped images in Lost Lagoon, Pool Party, Lemon Lolly, Smoky Slate, and Basic Gray inks, creating a layered, vertical design that adds interest without overwhelming the card.

To bring the light bulbs to life, I used a black marker to hand draw the cords, which adds a simple but impactful detail. The gears are die cut from the Bronze Textured Metallic Specialty Paper for an industrial feel. The sentiment comes from the Fabulous Sayings stamp set and is heat embossed in white embossing powder on a Pretty Peacock label die cut using the Nested Essentials dies. Metallic Gems in bronze finish the card with just the right amount of dimension and polish.

When a design has lots of straight lines and structure, hand-drawn details — like marker lines or faux stitching — can soften the look and make the project feel more organic and handmade.
