CRAFT & CHAT – EPISODE 5
I love to participate in card swaps every now and then to get ideas using new sets. For the latest card swap I participated in, we used new items coming out in the November 2024 Online Exclusives launch. Check out the card I made using the Umbrella Days bundle!
There are SO MANY different ways to create, and card swaps give me such great ideas on: layouts, colors, techniques, and just cool ways to use new sets!
Card swaps are also great for inspiring me to buy sets that I “wasn’t going to buy, but then I got a cute sample so now I have to buy it”… can you relate?! 😂
For this card, I used the Country Woods Designer Series Paper, the new Gold Twisted Thread and the Gold Textured Dots. Plus a bunch of Stampin’ Blends, because I love to color!!
Here are the measurements for this card:
- Card Base (Night of Navy): 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Basic White layer: 3-3/4″ x 5″
- Night of Navy layer: 3-1/8″ x 3-1/8″
- Country Woods DSP: 3″ x 3″
