CRAFT & CHAT – EPISODE 6
My mom celebrated her birthday last week, and of course, I had to make her a Birthday Card to celebrate! She loves the color green and snowmen, so I combined the two to make this fun fold card for her:
I’m not sure if this fold has a name, but if it did, it would probably be something like “Double Pocket Fun Fold.” There’s a pocket on the front and the inside to add fun little notes to. It turned out so cute and she loved it!!
In the front pocket, I added a space for me to write. I had to leave a lot of room, of course!
The inside of this card features a beautiful “Happy Birthday” sentiment. The pocket on the inside has a gift card holder, which I put a gift card to her favorite coffee place in!
Here are the measurements for this card:
- DSP Base (Season of Green & Gold): 8-1/2″ x 11″ scored in half on both sides (see video)
- Mossy Meadow layers: 3-3/8″ x 4-7/8″ (qty 2)
- Basic White layers: 3-1/4″ x 4-3/4″ (qty 2)
- Mossy Meadow Pocket: 3-1/4″ x 1-3/4″
- Extras for stamping and decorating!
I’ve also provided the full supply list at the bottom of this blog post.
