Santa’s Workshop Craft Along Day 1: Festive Friends Card + Ornament Slide-Out Gift Box

Welcome to Day 1 of the Santa’s Workshop Craft Along! I’m so excited to kick things off with not one but two cheerful projects featuring the Festive Friends and Ornamental Christmas bundles. Today we’re mixing cute, cozy, and clever—because nothing says Christmas crafting like a jolly Santa card plus a fun slide-out gift box for treats, jewelry, or a surprise gift!

This sweet card features the Festive Friends bundle paired with the Modern Christmas DSP. The bold black and white fa-la-la background sets the stage for a cute hand-colored Santa, stamped evergreen trees, and a soft green Be Jolly sentiment. Layered pieces of DSP and cardstock add texture, while the ribbon and enamel dots finish everything off with simple, playful charm.

The coordinating slide-out gift box uses the Ornamental Christmas bundle with the North Pole Delivery DSP. The top panel features a window cut in the shape of an ornament, letting the patterned DSP inside peek through when the box is closed. Extra touches like the die-cut evergreen tree, ribbon bow, enamel dots, and a sweet Merry Christmas sentiment make this little box perfect for gifting candy, jewelry, or another gift!
