Sending a Little Cheer: Cozy Pup Christmas Card

Who can resist a dog in a sweater? This sweet little card is all about spreading cozy cheer this holiday season! I paired the Long Time No See stamp set with A Little Cheer for a design that’s warm, playful, and perfect for any dog lover on your list.

This card features the Long Time No See stamp set for the adorable pup, paired with a sentiment from A Little Cheer. For the background, I used the Falling Snow stamp set to create that soft, wintry texture. The dog’s sweater was created with the paper piecing technique—stamp the image again on Designer Series Paper, cut out just the sweater, and layer it on top. I finished the look with two strips of Fluffy White Trim and a few pearls for a simple, snowy touch.

Paper piecing is a great way to add pattern and texture to your stamped images! Try mixing DSP patterns for fun seasonal outfits on your critters or characters—it’s a quick and easy way to give them extra personality.
