CRAFT & CHAT – EPISODE 4
You never know when inspiration will strike, right?! Recently while scrolling Facebook, I came across an idea to use multiple colors of embossing powder on one card… genius! I just had to try it for myself. Check it out!

You know when you fall in love with a card you make and then you can never get rid of it because it’s just the perfect card?! That’s how I feel about this one! It turned out SO much better than I thought!!!
For the background, I inked up the large Snowflake stamp from the Frozen Edges bundle in versamark. Then I added on silver and gold embossing powders (cue the song – “Silver and Gold, Silver and Gold, goes together like la la la laaaaa…”).

I couldn’t think of a color I liked for the sentiment, so decided to die cut a circle from the Spotlight on Nature dies and heat emboss the sentiment with white embossing powder!
The card base is cut at 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and scored in half at 4-1/4″, then the layer of Basic Black that I heat embossed on is 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″.
Check out the video below to see my whole creative process in designing this card!
