Spooky Halloween Card with Frankenstein Pup

This card is all about mixing texture, bold colors, and a touch of cuteness for Halloween! Featuring the Spooky Halloween bundle, it’s a fun way to bring some playful charm into your spooky season crafting.

The card front has an embossed layer with the Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder, adding a grungy background that feels perfectly Halloween. I layered Botanical Textures DSP in black and white over the top, then added a pop of color with a Lemon Lime Twist strip from the Brights DSP and a cardstock strip.

The arched frame comes from the Everyday Arches dies, cut from Petunia Pop for a bold contrast. To complete the look, I added a few bats, the “Spooky” sentiment, and the cutest little Frankenstein pup holding candy and a pumpkin bucket. A few enamel dots finish off the design.

When layering multiple patterns and textures, keep one color family neutral (like black and white DSP) so your bright colors and images really pop! This helps the design stay balanced while still being bold.
