Spring Corners Birthday Card: Happy Birthday

Hey there, crafty friends! Today I’m sharing this bright and cheerful birthday card featuring the Spring Corners bundle. The flowers add the perfect touch to a fun, happy birthday card, and the background texture, created with the Mini Corrugated 3D embossing folder, really adds some visual interest! I just love how the Floral Delight DSP adds the right amount of color and design to complement the whole card. Let’s dive into the details!

This card starts with a base of Floral Delight DSP, where the soft pastel colors meet the bold yellow and floral prints. I added a layer of Crumb Cake cardstock embossed with the Mini Corrugated 3D embossing folder to add texture and interest.

The sentiment, “happy birthday,” comes from the Spring Corners bundle and is stamped in Early Espresso ink. It’s layered over a rectangle from the Perennial Postage dies, which perfectly frames the sentiment with a postage stamp shape.

For a little extra fun, I used some coordinating yellow hearts and small embellishments, giving the card a bit of texture and color contrast. The hearts are the perfect size to add a pop of fun.

Don’t be afraid to mix and match textures when designing a card! The corrugated look of the Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder gives the card extra dimension, while the Floral Delight DSP provides a bold, patterned contrast that keeps the design balanced. Combining patterns, textures, and clean shapes can result in a striking card design!
